Petra Smith tore her back muscles at the age of 11 and has been living with back pain since. She has a herniated disc in her lower lumbar with burning pain in her hips and buttocks. Petra has done numerous treatments but nothing seemed to stop the pain. After only 11 visits to the Illinois Back Institute she finally was pain free and on her way to getting her life back.

In early 2011, Olga visited Lagrange hospital to see a back specialist for her pain that became so severe she could hardly walk! She was informed by her doctor that she had spinal stenosis and was referred to a pain clinic for steroid shots in April & May 2011. Olga said the shots only worked for a month and was then referred to surgeon to address the problem. Olga was very much against surgery and did not know what step to take next. On her drive home from LaGrange Hospital, she noticed the Countryside Illinois Back Institute clinic and walked in for a consult and began treatment immediately thereafter. Olga’s MRI also showed a herniated disc which was not mentioned by any previous doctors. After only 2 days of treatment, Olga’s pain level went from as high as 10/10 to ZERO/10 and has not returned since! Olga’s co-workers have noticed a tremendous positive difference in how she walks and when asked, she urges them to call Illinois Back Institute to get the same results.

Julie Koors had a Discectomy in January 2011 but soon after the pain in her lower back returned, radiating down into her buttocks. Julie’s MRI showed that she had spinal stenosis and a disc bulged annual tear L4/15. Julie has been to the Illinois Back Institute for only 40 visits now and she is finally pain FREE and getting her life back. Check out her story!

Joyce Evans started treatment on 4/11/11 with low back pain and right leg radiculopathy starting back pain was a 8/10 which has decreased to 3/10 and right leg starting pain was 8/10 which has decreased to 2/10. She had initially come to us in a walker, she had woke up one morning and could not get out of bed, or walk and stand. She had seen a neuro surgeon and he suggested surgery. She came to us so she could avoid surgery. She felt like she had to do something because she is unable to work and any activity increased pain levels. She began to feel much better and now she no longer uses her walker beginning on her 23 visit. She is progressing very nicely. Her MRI showed disc bulge on T11 T12 and disc protrusion on C3C4C5 and L2 L3 L4 L5 and a herniation L5 S1 with lumbar scoliosis and narrowing and compression on S1 nerve root.

Pamela Smith had back pain for 15 to 20 years. She had back surgery Micro Discectomy 5/2007 and PT, Acupuncture, Decompression treatments before she came to IBI. She was taking Norco and Ibuprofen to take the edge off the pain. She came into the clinic with low back and pain down both legs.

Richard Jasiak started treatment on 3/7/11 with low back pain and right leg radiculopathy. MRI findings showed disc bulging on levels L3 L4 and L4 L5 with nerve root impingement on the L3 nerve root and L5 nerve root which are moderately compressed. After 21 treatments his pain in the back decreased to 0/10 and the right leg pain decreased from 5/10 to .5/10.

Meet Demetrio: a seven year old boy diagnosed with scoliosis. He has been coming to the Illinois Back Institute undergoing treatments to help make his scoliosis better, which to most doctors seems incurable. Listen to Demetrio talk about the different procedures he has gone through and how he is looking forward to a bright future — scoliosis-free.

Jacqueline Hokinson first came to the Illinois Back Institute in on March 1st 2011. She had Neck Pain and Leg and Arm Pain. Her pain levels were at a 10 when she first started. She is now coming to us only 2 times a week and her pain level is at 1-2. She is very happy with the results and has been able to resume her normal everyday activities.

Debbie suffered a sciatic episode in the summer of 2010 and began to feel numbness in the leg and foot, but did not think to address the problem. In February of 2011 her condition was exacerbated when Debbie suffered a fall on the ice and was taken to the ER for her severe back pain. She was prescribed Morphine to manage the pain. Debbie’s MRI showed herniated discs and she was referred by her PCP to two neurosurgeons who suggested physical therapy, then surgery. Debbie did not want surgery and felt as if she were on her own. Debbie conducted her own research after seeing an Illinois Back Institute infomercial on CLTV, she decided to call and make an appointment for a consultation. Debbie’s pain went from 4-5/10 in April, and after the first 3 treatments, she discontinued using 800mg Ibuprofen all together. Today, Debbie is at a 0/10 back pain level and her sciatica has been “tremendously reduced”.
